Common questions about moving for work
How can a chart say anything about a city and a career?
Each planet in your chart projects a line across the map, and standing near one raises that planet's part of your life. For work the lines that matter are the Sun for visibility, Saturn for structure and standing, Jupiter for opportunity, Mercury for the work being heard and Mars for drive. The reading measures your cities against those specific lines, not against a general good-places list.
How is this different from a career reading?
A career reading answers when — whether the conditions support a change now, which months carry support and which carry resistance. This one answers where — which places your chart backs for work. Different planets are weighted and different questions get answered, so if the move is already decided and only the timing is open, the career reading is the one you want.
What if the best city for work isn't somewhere I want to live?
That happens often and the reading says it plainly rather than smoothing it over. Work lines and home lines are different planets and they do not have to agree. If you want the other side of it, the relocation reading weighs the same places for home and belonging instead.
Does it account for the actual job market?
No. It has nothing to say about salaries, visas or which industry is hiring where, and it will not pretend otherwise. It answers one question the practical research cannot: whether the place itself sits where your chart carries work well, and when the conditions for moving are strongest.
We're moving for one person's job — can it read both of us?
Yes. Both charts are calculated and each city is measured against both, so a place that suits one person's work and leaves the other flat is named as exactly that. Each person also gets their own timing, because the transits are not shared.
