Important Transits
Transits are the angles transiting planets make to your natal chart. The slow-moving outer planets (Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto) shape the long arcs of life. Each page below explains a specific transit, when it hits, and what the chart shows.
Saturn square Saturn →
The quarter-cycle pressure point. Hits near ages 7, 14, 21, 36, 43, 51, 65. The age-36 square is widely reported as the loudest.
Saturn opposition Saturn →
The half-cycle review at ages 14 and 44. Part of the central midlife transit stack. Asks whether the structures built since the first return are still fit for purpose.
Pluto square Pluto →
Once-in-a-lifetime midlife transit. Hits between ages 36 and 45 depending on natal Pluto's sign. The deepest of the midlife transit stack.
Uranus opposition Uranus →
The midlife awakening transit, around age 42 — half of Uranus's 84-year orbit. Calculated dates, plain English.
Neptune square Neptune →
The midlife disillusionment transit, around age 41 — a quarter of Neptune's 165-year orbit. Calculated dates, plain English.
Jupiter on North Node →
The purpose-timing transit, roughly every 12 years — when Jupiter touches the chart's path-of-growth point.
Saturn on the Midheaven →
The career-axis maturation transit, roughly every 29 years — when Saturn touches the chart's vocational axis.
Jupiter on the Midheaven →
The career-axis opportunity transit, roughly every 12 years — when Jupiter touches the chart's vocational axis.
Saturn on the Descendant →
The relationship-axis structural review, roughly every 29 years — when Saturn touches the chart's partnership angle.
Pluto on Venus →
The deep relational-and-value rebuild. 2 to 4 years per exact aspect, often once in a lifetime. Calculated dates, plain English.
Pluto retrograde 2026 →
Pluto stations retrograde 6 May 2026 in Aquarius, direct 15 October 2026. ~5-month inward turn through patterns, power, and what we keep calling healed.
Neptune in Aries →
Neptune entered Aries 26 January 2026, stays until 2038-39. First time in 165 years. The 14-year identity-dissolving frame.
Uranus in Gemini →
Uranus in Gemini 2025 to 2032. The 7-year communication, AI, and learning shift. Last passage was 1942-1949.
Jupiter in Leo →
Jupiter in Leo from 1 July 2026 to July 2027 — the fire-sign year of visibility, creativity, confidence, and being seen.
Total solar eclipse August 2026 →
A total solar eclipse on 12 August 2026 at 20° Leo — a New Moon reset for identity, creativity, and visibility. Totality over Greenland, Iceland, and northern Spain.
Lunar eclipse August 2026 →
A partial lunar eclipse on 28 August 2026 at 5° Pisces — the Full Moon release closing the August 2026 eclipse season.
Jupiter in Cancer →
Jupiter's exalted home-and-family year — June 2025 to 1 July 2026, now moved on to Leo. Unusual ease for family, home, and emotional-security growth.
Venus retrograde 2026 →
Venus retrograde 3 October to 13 November 2026, Scorpio back into Libra. Old loves resurface, value reorientation, not for committing.
Saturn retrograde 2026 →
27 July to 11 December 2026, 14°45′ back to 7°56′ Aries. The structural review of everything started since February — and the middle act of the current Saturn returns.
Neptune retrograde 2026 →
7 July to 13 December 2026, 4°25′ back to 1°37′ Aries — the first full-in-Aries Neptune retrograde of the new era. The fog thins.
Jupiter square Midheaven →
The career-growth tension transit — opportunity arriving at right angles to the current path, twice per 12-year cycle.
Saturn in Aries →
15 February 2026 to 14 April 2028 — the discipline of beginnings. Hosts a double Saturn return (1996-98 and 1967-69 births).
Solar eclipse February 2027 →
An annular 'ring of fire' eclipse on 6 February 2027 at 17°38′ Aquarius — the next eclipse after the August 2026 season.
